I’m just an ordinary person who has been blessed beyond measure. I am the sum of my experiences, the good and the bad. I am a wife, a mother of four, an avid reader and lover of words. For as long as I can remember words have been my saving grace. Through a story I can dream bigger,  I gain hope and knowledge. Through writing I can express myself, offer insight and possibly even give hope.

A place to browse for tips on family fun, meal ideas, decor assistance, product reviews,and even read about my experiences with home and family. By no means am I declaring myself a know it all, it just feels right to share the things I’ve been successful at and vice versa. From cooking successes to failures, from family games that flop and purchases that were a waste. I have ideas to help keep the family close and to ultimately finding  happiness. 

My family, The Waite 6, is my greatest achievement. For me they are my happiness and my salvation. Like a phoenix that can rise from the ashes, I can rise from a scary, abusive childhood.
